Ever wondered what our orchard looks like?

Maungatapere Berries’ Ararimu Orchard is based 15 mins west of Whangarei City, at the base of beautiful Maungatapere Mountain. We have 30ha of productive land, growing a variety of fruit such as Kiwifruit, Raspberries, Blackberries, Blueberries and our very own Solberries. Our berries are grown undercover to have the very best growing conditions, and this also means that our workers are protected from the searing sun in summer and from the rain in winter.

Currently we are developing a further 4ha, and this will add to our berryfruit production.

We also have a state of the art packhouse, producing fresh and hygienic berries that are sent all over New Zealand each day.

We employ over 180 staff (during peak production), with 45 of them being full time permanents.
